The Hill Climber is one of the vehicles available in the game Hill Climb Racing 2.

The Hill Climber, which is Bill Newton's trusty car, is the very first vehicle unlocked. It looks more or less identical to its counterpart from the previous game, Hill Climb Racing.

The car is very small and is easy to drive, but becomes really slow at hard landings (Similar to Dune Buggy, but using Jump Shocks and Landing Boost and lowering the suspension can help) and is underpowered until it is upgraded. It serves more in the first steps of the game, but it is meant to be replaced with a more powerful vehicle as you progress. Still, it is a well balanced vehicle and works fine, more on adventures than in races due to its 77.94km/h (48.43mph or 21.65mps) top speed, without using good tuning parts.

Despite being the starter vehicle, it is one of the best vehicles to use with the Landing Boost, Jump Shocks, and Wings part combination (Greatly known as the 'Kangaroo' combination), which has greatly improved the functionality of this vehicle. Its closely spaced wheels helps to get perfect landings more easily with good suspension than other vehicles (except Scooter), so it is a good vehicle for beginners to master the 'Kangaroo', thanks to the powerful Jump Shocks and Wings.

In earlier versions of the game, the Hill Climber had the name "Jeep", but this it was changed after the 1.28 update.

See Vehicle Paints List for pictures and more information.

The Hill Climber has 20 different paints and 12 different wheels that can be obtained (VIP paint and wheels aren't included, but you can get it with VIP subscription). After starting the game, it has free red, blue-yellow, blue and green paints and two variation wheels to start with.

Based on the previous game's official artwork, the Hill Climber is based on a Jeep Willys MB.
