Rally Car is one of the Vehicles available in the game Hill Climb Racing 2.

Overview

The Rally Car is a very good car for both adventure and cups mode due to its moderate fuel consumption, excellent top speed of 24.6 m/s (88 km/h), and very good hill climbing skills. However, it does not have great acceleration, so at the start of a race, the rest of the racers get a chance to put as much distance as they can between themselves and the Rally Car. The Tuning Part Start Boost can mitigate this problem, although Winter Tires work almost just as well and is a better all-round option. Pro tip: Letting go of the accelerator when the narrator says "1" before starting a race will give a slightly better acceleration than a perfect start. However, Start Boost cannot be activated in this situation and this also makes Winter Tires less effective. The Rally Car suffers from a lack of grip, having only 120. This again, can also be mitigated by the Winter Tires. Equipping Overcharged Turbo may help the vehicle overcome steep terrain or get it to high speed quickly.

The cabin is fairly protected, able to keep the driver safe from slight and medium hits before it gets broken. Its aerodynamic effect can also help at "gliding" over a certain distance. A note to make when driving the Rally Car is that the front hood covering the engine can be broken off, decreasing downforce. This is good for both Adventure and Time Trial, but also dampens some of the Rally Car's abilities under downforce. It will also make this vehicle move quicker. This may also cause a strange behavior where the Rally Car leans forward more than intended, causing the car to flip entirely on small jumps and disrupting the race/event. Rally Car is a good vehicle to use in Object Destroying Events because Heavyweight does well with it.

The Rally Car comes with 21 different paints and 22 different wheels that can be obtained (Excluding the VIP paint and wheel, which come with the VIP subscription). After purchasing, it has a free blue paint and two variations of wheels to start with.

Trivia

• The Rally Car seems to be based on the Subaru Impreza WRX STi (GH) or the Peugeot 307 Coupe Cabriolet. One of its skins however, turns it to a Toyota Celica GT-FOUR ST205 instead.
• Once the front hood and roof are broken, the Rally Car becomes almost 1.5x quicker than when nothing is broken.
• It has the worst grip of any vehicle in the game, at only 120. But its great adaptability and other factors make up for it.
• It's the most customizable vehicle in the game. With 21 paints and 22 wheels for a total of 462 different possible combinations! It also has the most amount of wheel customizations (22). (If VIP included, the number rises to 506)
• It's original sprite has been changed in an update, but the icon sprite hasn't. So its icon doesn't entirely match with Rally's default blue paint.
• Long time ago You could get rally car by only getting to Platinum 1.
